I had a great time indeed. One of the benefits of my long marriage to my spouse is that she makes me a) save monthly for vacations and b) pay for them in advance and c) take them and enjoy them. It was just great on the island of Maui.
But, there are some truly breathtaking prices there, for gas and grocs. I think I paid five bucks for a half gallon of milk at a Safeway, among other things. Fantastic place, the whales were out with their calves and the escort males, weather got a little rough at one point, but we didn’t mind.
