It’s a perfectly cromulent word, a silly word for a silly emotion. It has been in the urban dictionary since 2003, which is like 500 years in Interwebs time.
And your pearl clutching histrionics over it would be a lot more convincing, had you ever responded similarly to other, much worse words in the same way.
