The issue is that
1. The format would introduce his lies to an audience it might not normally reach and even with corrections would through repetition cause people to internalize them
2. The format might induce a certain fondness for him due to the entertainment/kitsch value of the videos that might boost his popularity.

At the same time, if they did bubble pop-ups with facts (not “it’s a lie” over and over) people would be more likely to read and absorb them.
