Wife and I were car shopping a few weeks ago. Cash for Clunkers didn’t work for us because our trade-in wasn’t clunky enough. I was supremely grateful that I didn’t have to participate in a program that was so bizarre on it’s face. Destroying cars worth thousands and thousands of dollars in order to save the polar bears? Absurd.
So now the “new, young, hip, modern” Administration has to deal with the failures of the present, rather than from the past. The only question remaining: How will the collapse of “Clunkers” be blamed on Bush?

Do not fret, I have been told, off the record, by one of Barry’s top staff members, that Avanti will be taking over the Cash for Clunkers program. He will purchase your vehicle for 25 dollars and sell them to Cubans at a small profit.
