Wow! Those are eye-opening statistics. In China the gender imbalance was created by selective abortions. Your statistics show normal birth rates, but a significant drop in the whole population. Something is happening.
And the “total missing women” numbers are more shocking when stated in percentages.
The 2.3 million missing women of Pakistan are “only” 4% of the 51 million women that should be there between 15-64.
But in Bahrain, the 60,000 missing women are 20% of the 288,000 women that should be there.
One out of five, dead.
