I think that’s a very real possibility. Even “normal” conservatives are a little too wound up these days. There are crackpots on the brink out there.

A very reasonable explanation for this may well be that regular, normal, patriotic Americans are damn fearful about the direction the Democrats are taking this country and the breakneck pace in which they are doing it.
