I don’t hate Sarah Palin at all. I just think she wasted an incredible opportunity. And maybe part of the blame for that goes to the McCain camp who made her repeat the same speech over and over again in her early days as Veep candidate. If they wanted her to read a script, they should have given her a new script every day. But no. After the original splash during which she wowed everyone, they made her run with the exact same speech for a week. By day 2 it was old hat. By day 6 it was creepy.

Sarah Palin is like the pretty 6 year old being dragged to the beauty pageants. She was not ready, yet everyone told her she was. And she believed them, and unfortunately still does. Sad in a way.

I do not understand the sheer meanness towards her.
