re: #460 DaddyG

I’m going to pick up a copy of the Qu’aran and learn for myself what is in it. I may ask the local Mosque if my Mormon family can observe their services too.

I’m getting tired of this demonization crap and I fear it won’t end well for the love of Freedom, love of America or love of Christ for that matter.

BTW? Which (affordable) Enlgish translation of the Qu’aran is considered the most authoratative by you folks here that are familiar with it?

You can also read it online if you want. The specific translation won’t make much difference for your purposes.
If you go into your local mosque they will probably be more than happy to show you around. I’ve done it before and never had any problems (at least in this country, overseas may be a different matter). They’ll be friendly and helpful. Observing prayers probably won’t be a problem and they’ll probably ask you to lurk in the back of the room. You might ask about observing a friday service with a sermon. I’ve never done that before but it could be interesting.
