I will take a guess that you are not a member of the Optimists Club? If our technology remains the same, things will be bad. But, it will not remain the same, will it? Bring it on, humans are about as adaptable as you can get, so even if the oceans rise, we will survive, no problem.

We have the technology now to turn it around. We are not doing so.

If we pass a tipping point, there is no technology to turn it around. This is just like saying that once the bullet is coming for your head, you really don’t have a way to put on a helmet. You are then fucked.
