He’s said some wacky things, but in the main he stays with sane positions. And he’s never called for reporters whose views he dislikes to be jailed. Unlike Sean Penn, he actually understands and respects the First Amendment.

I won’t defend Penn, but…. calling Obama a “false prophet” veers into crazy territory for me. I guess it depends how wide the gap is for “in the main.” :)
