Must be one really old dude, as there hasn’t been a “Republic of Texas” since 1845. (Or is this in the “Baron of Arizona” sense?)

There are some very weird and scary people coming out of the woodwork these days. I can’t decide whether it’s a good thing to know they’re still around, or whether it would be preferable to remain in blissful ignorance.
