Yes, at the time of the 2008 crash I worked for a smallish law firm whose biggest client, unfortunately, was AIG. I’ll just say it was a pretty tense few days. And none of us, even the attorneys, were even close to being fat cats.

As much as I think Wall Street needs to be regulated and have oversight, I really don’t like that element of the left that thinks every person that works there is a greedy bastard looking to screw the little guy. To me, it’s as unhelpful as the RWNJs that attack every government employee as “lazy” and “ineffectual.”
