So I’m up in the Sierra Foothills, visiting friends, getting out and hiking up around 9000’ (give or take 1000’.) No TV, no radio, limited internet (which is why I’m just doing a quick check in) and therefore not much news. As it turns out that is apparently a really great thing. Beautiful weather, amazing wildflowers, and tomorrow it’s back to the real world. I’m not sure I want to come back. Maybe the news will be better?
