These groups are definitely growing in influence, but they still seem to be mostly a minority with the evangelical community. Yes, people will quibble over various forms of birth control, but the bickering has its roots in a heavy concern that it not be “like abortion,” not that contraception is morally wrong.

I know about the quiverfulls, etc (I think a sister in law is big into that movement), but from my point of view it’s not yet the dominant point of view. Most people I know that are anti-abortion haven’t really thought much about contraception, and would be pissed if someone told them they needed to disavow it altogether.
