TBH, unless Paul knew who he was being photographed with, I don’t hold it against him on its own.

Taking pictures with supporters is what politicians do. I don’t hold it against any politician of any party who has their picture taken with someone they don’t know.

For a simple photo op at a general appearance that makes sense. If the photo came from a speaking event where he addressed a particular group or attended something sponsored by said group then the photo should be considered a bit more damning.
