Hypothetical scenario as example:

MSM Both-siderist dipshit: “The Democrats have a major sexual harassment problem so does that mean you have no standing to criticize Roy Moore?”

Dem politician who knows what’s what: “We take all allegations seriously and have implemented proper due process to investigate. Contrast this to GOPers who only engage in denial, completely dismissing the victims of trump, moore, [go on to list all other GOPers accused of sexual harassment] and even going so far as to hire a woman to lie about being raped in an effort to discredit actual victims. It should be clear to any voter that Democrats take these allegations seriously and handle them appropriately while the GOP does nothing but protect and enable predators.”

That may not be perfect, but it gives you an idea - unless they either refuse to *ever* invite Dems on their shows (in which case, an ad/social media campaign calling it out would be appropriate, as well as going directly to voters) or do the fox mic-cutting trick, there’s always a way to get your message out even when faced with a hostile and willfully stupid both-siderist media.
