I haven’t seen enough of the guy other than he didn’t have to beat a stellar democratic effort against him. Will look him up when i have time.

My money is on a sane GOP candidate just about squeaking through - but with a teabagging true believer/defender of the faith running a strong third party candidacy.

The third-party possibility is going to be very interesting, although I don’t see a way the People of Tea running a third-party campaign doesn’t simply gut the Republican candidate. Worse than Nader.
