Things with this other one - we’ve known each other twenty years - never were, and never will tend, along those lines. It’s odd; I guess that’s the best word - odd. We corresponded for 10 years (even during the first years of her marriage, unbeknownst to me) and then stopped when I got married (the future wife found the correspondence and went simian-feces).

And then all of a sudden, it started up again.

Let it go. You are married and have to keep your wife happy.
