You nailed it with the oil issue. It’s a damn shame that we even have to consider war because we are at the mercy of a few mid eastern countries. I dream of the day when we don’t need a barrel of their damn oil and they can piss off back to the 12th century if they like.

What we need is a nuclear program to generate energy like Iran is researching. Oh, wait… BTW, aren’t we getting close to fusion power yet? Will the left let us use it?
