In the book, he did nor deny the deaths, but thought the number might have been as low as a million. Although the real number is unknown, it was well over the million he wrote about. Not saying he was not full of crap about over estimating, but not a denier by definition.

I believe it was the Nazis own records that documented the over 6 million Jewish deaths and over 7 million others (Gypsies, Masons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, homosexuals, political prisoners, etc). They were apparently real anal about documenting each and every death.
