There are elements of the US far right that are flirting with Naziism, but IMO this is still a lunatic fringe, even for wingnuts. Open adherence to an ideology of elimination and physical thuggery by GOP leaders is absent, so far.

Limbaugh, defacto leader of the GOP, has dehumanized liberals and democrats for 30+ years. I’m going to withhold judgement on GOP leadership for maybe 7-10 years. As they lose election after election that’s not gerrymandered, we’ll see how they respond.
