It scares me that Trump’s comment about his friends not being able to borrow money as a basis for policy decision won’t even make a ripple. It’s outrageous.

More to the point:

TRUMP DOESN’T HAVE FRIENDS.

This is one of the things we know about him.

He may have “friends” who can’t borrow money, but only with the air quotes firmly in place. I don’t think there’s a soul on earth, Ivanka and the boys included, who’d, say, help him move a sofa or drive him to the airport at 4 in the morning in the way that a real friend would do for most of us.
