It’s like I said the other night, the wingnuts started out by insisitng that there was no evidence whatsoever that there’d been communications between the Trumps and Russia.

Then they moved on to asserting that even if there’d been communication, there was nothing illegal about that.

Following up that was assertions that even if the Trumps had lied about communicating with Russia, that wasn’t criminal because they could just “revise” their statements.

Now they’re outright saying that even if the Trumps talked about criminal actions with the Russians, that doesn’t mean anything because nothing happened.

If we follow this pattern, next will be arguing that even if we’ve caught the Trumps working with/for the Russians, that’s not criminal because Russia’s an awesome country.
