And how long ago was this and where? When I looked this up (about the time it applied to my cohort, so…1970?), there were only like 3 states where the age of consent was 18, but that seems to have spread universally now. In the South it was usually 12, and in Delaware it was 7, but 16 was the normal age then. I don’t know when the changes occurred.

Kavanaugh was born ‘65, so 1983 and I assume in Maryland/Virginia/DC since he’s from Maryland originally.
