What’s happening now is just noise. When the body count from abortion bans starts going up, with a weekly drip drip drip of news stories, that not something a GOP spin doctor should be able to handle (i.e., if they can overcome even that, then we really are fucked).

Remember how the media eventually got tired of talking about daily and then weekly dail totals from COVID, only sparing a moment when certain milestones were reached? So that by this time last year, people were already starting to be convinced that the pandemic was “over” and it was time to “move on”?

Yeah, they’re not gonna pay a tinker’s damn about the body count from abortion being banned. At least not without finding a way to “balance” that coverage.
