Yeah! I LISTENED to the guy during the campaign, it’s as if some of my friends didn’t, they just tuned out anything that wasn’t up their alley.

I think most leftys who think like this live in safe blue states or regions. Here in swing country, we tend to savor the battles we win and eat our ideals best we can while realizing to actually get anything accomplished requires compromise, good faith and the ability to recognize that ones politics doesn’t necessarily determine if they are a douchebag.
