I can’t answer why the MSNBC story is not newsworthy, but I can tell you why Joe the Plumber’s comment was - Joe the Plumber was a major piece of the latter part of John McCain’s campaign. My memory needs to be refreshed - how many times did Sarah Palin, VP candidate and until recently, conservative star, mention his name? Wasn’t it Hot Air who was promoting him rather heavily not too long ago. If you are a conservative, it is very hard to now claim unfair that his comments are receiving undue attention.
