I agree with you.

But we can count on the focus being on material crap e.g. burnt-down buildings, inventories, stolen television sets, and not people getting hurt, injured, families lost, people missing, perhaps killed. I’m laughing at the mentality that focuses on things and property, and so called “law and order” in the service of things and property. But actually, I find it quite disgusting.

You are no doubt correct about the focus being on material losses just as it was with the assholes after Katrina. That is the world that we live in today. I also recognize that your laughter is sourced in pain because to cry out and scream of the injustice of it just results in being further bullied and outcast.

I have no answers. We’re all scared. We all deal with it as we are able.
