Oh, definitely. If they’d been able to keep their hatred of the Slavic people under control, they’d have had a ready supply of volunteers to fight against the Soviets. Or, at the very least, they wouldn’t have had to expend so many resources keeping the partisans under control in their back ranks while they pushed forward towards Moscow.

They succeeded in any case in being able to recruiting Slavs for various auxiliary units that were used to guard camps, fight partisans, and even took part in reducing the Warsaw Ghetto. The long history of Anti-Semitism in Europe was all too easily tapped by the Nazi Party and state for their own purposes.
