There’s so much crazy shit going on. Yesterday, the SCOTUS heard arguments about whether to abandon the principle that we’ve used to determine representation for state legislatures for nearly 150 years, based on the cockamamie belief that only voters need to be represented.

Didn’t we go to war back in 1775 over that issue? Wasn’t that the guiding principle of our declaring independence, that everyone should be represented because the actions of government apply to everyone?

Now this is being called into question in a cynical attempt to pack state legislatures in favor of rural white people. And this cynical crazy shit was argued in front of the SCOTUS.

Sometimes it’s hard to get up in the morning, the bullshit is so deep.
