I believe it didn’t occur to you that this video could possibly offend anyone. It’s just this blind-spot of yours that concerns those of us who love what you’re doing and have done here at LGF in warning the world about the dangers of Islam, etc.; those of us who also happen to be fundamentalist Christians. We are sensitive to the (I’m sorry) anti-Biblical bigotry behind your decision to post this video because it is our creed that is being presented in such a technically crude and hokey manor that it couldn’t fail to elicit derision and mockery in a modern, mostly unsympathetic audience. I doubt you would post an embarrassing, dated film that held Hasidic Jews and their beliefs up to similar ridicule; no matter how much of an “oddity” you found it.

Sometimes saying, “Lighten up, it’s just a joke,” really does betray the joker’s prejudice.
