“The Distraction” is exactly why the remarks were purposefully made. Now everyone’s talking about the remarks rather than the failing health plan. The focus is on Barack, the post racial lightning rod rather than on congress and that idiot bill where it belongs.

I wonder - because he didn’t do the “umm ahh” thing I assumed that these were his candid thoughts or that the issue had been rehearsed with Gibbs before the Press Conference. I chose to see it as the former, but if it was a rehearsed response then we have a truly cynical (and inept) White House.
