Of course, one should rightfully question where the Times was in reporting on the misogyny in Afghanistan at the hands of the Taliban pre 2001, and up to today. It’s easy for the Left to complain about womens rights and the need to do something, but when action is truly needed, the Left complains that we need to respect local traditions, rights, and that action shouldn’t be taken by the US because we’re not quite perfect on those same issues.

The left sees these issues as talking points and fundraising tips, but not intent upon solving them - a more difficult task that sometimes requires action - military action.

This I agree with - but nonetheless, the article in no way smeared Charles or LGF as ‘sneaky ultra-rightie.’
