No clue. I don’t fully understand what it has to do with hobbits either.

I’ve read Tolkein, and I don’t recall any mention of raccoons…elves, orcs, wizards, goblins, walking talking trees, yes…raccoons, no. And I’m guessing Buchanan’s cultural reference was less sincere than a story about a ring.
