Sounds awesome, HH! You’re correct re: Singapore’s public transit; besides, driving is taxed similarly to London’s congestion charge. Also, Singapore’s National Stadium is a pretty nice place for a Soccer match, with no hooligans to disrupt the fun.

Have stayed there 5 times since 2002; my first time in Asia was in fact there. A wise move as it turned out; the Garden City is best at preparing travelers in the best way possible for the wonders that await elsewhere in that corner of the world. Give me a shout if you need any particular advice.
