To be honest, I am not sure why it matters if the President is a native-born or naturalized citizen: this whole thing could be resolved very easily if the Constitution were amended retroactively (if that is possible) to remove the clause in question: both Democrats and Republicans would surely agree with this amendment, not as an admittance of Obama being foreign born, but simply so that resources could be spent on relevant and important issues.
