Trump could try to pardon everything and everyone around him. That’d only help him prevent federal prosecutions.

Wont stop anyone at the state level beating up on him with criminal charges, and there’s enough of those to go around. That’s why Mueller’s coordinating efforts with NY AG Schneiderman are so worrying to Trump.

Trump can’t do a damn thing about getting prosecuted in New York. He’s facing the most exposure there too, but it’s by no means the only place. Illinois is another place. Florida’s still another, as is New Jersey.
