Because the author has a new book to sell. Looks like NR is using the WND book marketing strategy.

Dial that back a bit. A reasonable book about Abraham Lincoln is not the same as a WND screed. Countering the Lincoln haters is a worthy topic for an article or book and its good for the moral health of NR and the GOP.
