I wondered about that, too. She seemed to have just been uttering the first thing that came into her mind.

And as I recall, that was probably the last time I ever watched the Academy Awards on TV…

When I was younger, I watched all the award shows. Why? I have no idea. Then, sometime after college, I realized it was a complete waste of time, and anyway, I had no TV, so now I just wait to find out who won.
