Yes- it is. In my state- legislators are granted an allowance for expenses like traveling back from the Capitol to their districts to deal with business, so I don’t have an issue with traveling expenses. But- it seems to me this is pushing a line. He’s not just meeting with officials, he’s campaigning — in churches. Just rubs me the wrong way.
