We now have more than enough GOP sexual foibles to post a coherent view of their attitude. It is not just one or two that have been spectacularly caught boinking those whom they would preach should not be boinked. So just to understand the GOP position of sexuality…

The formal declaration of the GOP position.

Sex is bad, unless I am doing it.

Sex is evil and wrong, unless I am doing it.

Sex that is not missionary, with the lights out and through a hole in the sheet, may lead to distracting amounts of pleasure and corruption. It is therefore dangerous to maintaining order and control, unless I am doing it.

Gay sex is so immoral and inherently wrong that it must be purged from our society by any and all draconian means called for. Unless I am doing it.

Gay sex can be cured. But I do not personally need to be cured.

Abortion is wrong and evil, unless I, or the woman I knocked up, needs one.

As such, the obvious truth, is that since I am a fundamentally better person than you, who has different rules applied to them by God - as John Calvin wrote and the founding fathers clearly understood when they made this country a Christian nation, the issue is not what I do with my genitals, but rather proscribing what you do with yours. After all, you are not amongst the elect. I am, and it is necessary that we as your betters impose this control on you. See you in heaven if you make the list. But I doubt it you liberal feminist homo-lover.
