Some people argue that lifting the embargo now would be wrong because the Castro regime is about to fall.

However, I would point out that most of the nations in the world freely trade with Cuba (except for military supplies), and there is no end of Europeans vacationing in Cuba.

While in Japan I took group dance/exercise classes from a superb Cuban dancer/teacher. Really outstanding in many ways. Unfortunately of course he can’t travel to the US, which is a shame.

Unless he gets here on an inner tube. Then he gets to stay. Gah!

And I really don’t give a crap what Mandy hears me say. heh.
