Many communities have installed LED stop lights in an effort to reduce electricity costs. Just one small problem. In areas where it snows, the snow is wind blown against the lens and blocks the light. The LED’s don’t produce enough heat to melt the snow.

Streetlights that are pointing down wouldn’t have that problem, would they?
