In complete sincerity- while it may seem ridiculous, I feel I must ask for your forgiveness before Yom Kippur. After the game last night, I realize that I was no better than the 2 Wisconsin politicians who tweeted about the union refs in the NFL being locked out, they only care about unions in the context of fandom. I continued to watch the games despite the lockout, and realize that by doing so, it was akin to crossing a picket line, one I could not see. I have Sunday Ticket, but will not watch another NFL game until the refs are back. Sadly I didn’t have your clarity on this issue, and I should have, but was blind. In addition to asking for forgiveness for any offense I may have given, I ask you to forgive me for letting my fandom get in the way of my principles. May everyone be blessed in the coming year, regardless of deity allegiances, or the lack thereof.
