The last I heard from my parents in Connecticut, they’d lost power but whatever colonist built that house there back in the 1700s (we don’t know exactly when the house dates from) situated it very well. It’s tucked into a little space on the hill that doesn’t really get big wind. I am worried about the trees around it, but none of them are really very likely to fall towards the house, they all lean elseways. I’m pretty confident they’re okay, but I’ll be very glad when I heard from them.
