Reminds me of the fundies who think that the GW won’t affect anyone, God’s promise and stuff.

I remember the last time i encountered one of the “God won’t let the world come to an end” anti-GW type… replied with a somewhat lengthy but to the point explanation on how GW wouldn’t be anywhere near the biblical “end of the world” - the globe we live in has endured much worse before humanity showed up - but just the suffering and deaths of dozens of millions around the world, quite a few of which will probably be Republicans in red US states. That last part got him to go silent and start to think.
