I kind of like the first one of the samples you linked. Not the second. I never could develop a liking for post-modern architecture. The model of the memorial might be little light. The first photo of the model seems a little weak but the last two in an elevation view look pretty good. It would have been nice to see a traditional marble memorial but those days are long gone for many reasons.

I don’t think it’s in Gehry’s DNA to do anything really traditional or classical, so this is the probably the best we’re gonna get from him. He tries to pay homage to the Greek classical white marble style with the use of several columns, but they are totally freestanding, no connection with larger structures. So it’s “playful” and self-conscious in that post-modern aesthetic you referenced.

I think Gehry’s biggest influence was a Spanish architect named Gaudi, whose stuff was very quirky, at least for his time (early 1900s)
