So let me see if I’ve got this straight: The 4 lawyers assigned to prosecute this case filed a sentencing recommendation with the court that was double what the “guidelines” say they should be, the DOJ only discovered this after Trump railed against it on Twitter, and they stepped in to “correct” the filing without noting at any time that the original filing had been in excess of DOJ “guidelines.”

Wouldn’t it have saved everybody’s time had Barr just let things play out, then made up some BS to justify a Trump pardon instead?
