I am not eligible for booster until January.

I got Biontech. Cannot say about first shot as it came in the midst of an early summer heat wave that had me pretty knocked out. Slightly sore arm.

Second shot in July really knocked the wind out of me, took me weeks to recover, had to cancel a number of hiking tours for being out of shape.

Not sure about the Pfizer/Biontech shot, but every single person I know, myself included, that had the Moderna vaccine, including people who felt no effects at all from the first two shots, were knocked on their ass for a day or two from the booster.

I’ve heard that the booster gets you back up to 95% protection in about 2 days instead of 2 weeks and this might be why people are feeling like ass for a couple of days after. Probably a greater immune response, but I’m not a doctor by any means.
