My Pie Collective made and sold 40 pies in the last 2 days. Pumpkin, pecan, chocolate pecan, chocolate cream, apple, sweet potato, cherry and some weird vegan shit. All original recipes, all made from scratch.

The irony is after the sale finished yesterday afternoon, I got home to start making crust for our Thanksgiving, and my refrigerator compressor had given up the ghost. 3 months of summer blueberry hoarding dripping on the floor. Oh, the piemanity!1! Why are the pie gods angry with me? Haven’t I sacrificed enough butter and whole wheat pastry flour on their shell alters the last 3 days?
